I’ve set up a couple of meetings now at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center. It’s a nice site, actually. I like that the Los Angeles chapter of the American Cetacean Society meets there to count whales and dolphins. It’s a good tie-in with the dolphin energy that got this project started in the first place. I’ve noticed that the weather weather is different here, even though it is only a short distance from my home. The meetings I have done here so far were in the late afternoon. I’ve noticed that the weather can change quite quickly in these hours, with temperatures turning quite cool in a hurry. I would suggest that anyone attending bring with them warm layers to add if it gets a bit chilly.
